Ash Wednesday – 21st February 2024

Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, was last week during the Half Term Break.

However, to mark Ash Wednesday we went into Church this morning for a late Ash Wednesday service. We were joined by some of the pupils from our Friends at Mere Brow CE Primary School.
Danny led most of the service tell us how Jesus spent his time in the desert during the 40 days that we recognise as Lent. At the end of the service, each member of THT (and Mere Brow) was marked with the sign of a cross, in ash, on their foreheads by Fr Mark.

Each Wednesday morning during Lent we will have worship in church rather than in school, led by Father Mark and/or Danny.
Please join us if you can. Services start as soon as we can after 9.00am and are no longer than 30 minutes long.
